Sawmill and kiln-dryers of Brienne le Château

Spreading over ten hectares, including a covered area of 15000 m2, our yard which is mainly asphalted ensures an efficient storage of our products.

We saw an average of 12000 m3 of French timber logs per year. The main species is oak, but we also produce beech, ash, and different fruit trees.

After the sawing, the fresh cut wood is stored under shades. A part is left there for 2 or 3 years to be sold air dried; another part is put in the pre-dryer, then into kiln dryers to obtain a moisture content of 10-12%.
